Last season was definitely one we will not soon forget. The pandemic has shown us how much we took for granted and how things can change at the drop of a tee. So many of our routines were disrupted and even continue to be so today. Taking time to pause and remember the most important things in our lives have taken on a new significance.

Here at Fox Meadow we also had to take lots of pauses for reflection over the last number of months. This critical time has reminded us how important our role in this community is, and that having the space and the room to play is so vital to our well-being. We saw first hand how important it is for people to be able to get outdoors and enjoy themselves.

We also saw how vitally important is to take care of each other. The well-being of our team has taken center stage during these trying times and we plan to recommit to this idea moving into the 2021 season. Working at Fox Meadow is far more than a job, it’s a family.

We have also come to realize that the well-being and safety of all those who visit Fox Meadow is our top priority. Golf is a simple game, played among friends and soon to be friends. Last season we saw so very many of our patrons remembering why they loved the game again. They weren’t focused on what was wrong or what was missing, only grateful to be afforded the opportunity to play the game they enjoy so much.

So that is our goal again for this season. To help people rediscover the joy of the game and remember to simply have fun. It can be so easy to get caught up in all the things that don’t really matter in this life but getting the chance to be outside in our natural world, playing a game with folks we enjoy can show us that it’s the simple things that matter most.
