Hole 1
Par 4
420 Yards
The first hole is a downhill dog-leg right and the smart tee shot is hit to the left of the fairway avoiding a well placed bunker. A short to middle iron brings you home to a receptive green with a bunker on the right side.
Hole 2
Par 4
326 Yards
Hole two dog legs to the right and a well placed drive left of centre, avoiding the pond on the right, is a must. The green, back dropped by hardwood trees, has two critically placed bunkers ready to catch a less than perfect approach shot- be careful!
Hole 3
Par 5
539 Yards
The third hole is a long uphill run requiring a drive over a marsh, a long fairway wood, and probably a mid to long iron to a postage stamp sized green. Nine bunkers will make your long uphill run seem even longer- birdies will be rare! Your view of the Fox Meadow Clubhouse is spectacular.
Hole 4
Par 3
180 Yards
After the last hole you now get a bit of a rest, but not much! The fourth hole, a downhill par 3, demands a crisp iron shot to a very receptive green guarded by two front bunkers. Birdies could happen here.
Hole 5
Par 4
382 Yards
The 5th hole is uphill with a gently winding turn to the right. Mid centre fairway is mandatory, as fairway bunkers on both sides of the landing area will catch stray tee shots. Second shots have to come in the front door of the green because two more bunkers guard the entrance to the green. Two putts on this big undulating green will be an accomplishment.

Par 5
522 Yards
Hole six will be a sleeper. It’s long, tree lined for your drive, uphill at the end, with five bunkers strategically placed, and a small green to top it off! Start your tee shot just to the left of the fairway pine tree and don’t let up until you sink that last putt.
Hole 7
Par 3
137 Yards
The “signature hole” at Fox Meadows for sure!
Pick the right club, take a deep breath of clean Stratford air, and swing. A true risk-reward shot with a bail-out area on the waiting hillside, but you still have to chip to a green almost completely surrounded with water.
Hole 8
Par 4
381 Yards
Eight is a dog leg left that may see some fairway woods and long irons off the tee. Big hitters may be teased to cut the corner and have a shorter approach shot to a good sized green guarded by two bunkers. A birdie here will help your score on the front nine!
Hole 9
Par 4
443 Yards
The ninth hole is a solid par four with a generous landing area for your drive. Fairway and green-side bunkers are less of a threat, and the approach is to a larger elevated green. After this hole, take a short break before heading to the back nine.
Hole 10
Par 5
525 Yards
A good drive out of the chute allows you to hit a generous landing area. Watch out of bounds left, fairway bunkers, and avoid hitting over the green at all costs. Might be a birdie possibility with a sharp putt!
Hole 11
Par 4
433 Yards
An elevated tee launches the golfer down to a beautiful treed par 4 with out of bounds left. Tee shot must avoid three stepping stone bunkers on the right side. Medium size green is nestled beneath a backdrop of hardwoods and is guarded by ever present bunkers.
Hole 12
Par 3
140 Yards
A birdie opportunity with a mid to high iron shot. Green offers lots of challenging pin placements and a shot in any of three well placed bunkers will cancel out any birdie opportunity.
Hole 13
Par 4
416 Yards
A strong par 4, dog leg left, with a big pond waiting for stray shots. Second shots will be long irons and fairway woods to a nicely contoured green bordering on mature softwood trees. Most golfers leaving with a par will feel a sense of accomplishment.
Hole 14
Par 4
418 Yards
Fairway fades away to the right with trees all down the left side. First, drive to a generous landing area and then hit to a 7500 square foot green. Watch out for the pot bunker to the right of the green.
Hole 15
Par 3
172 Yards
This hole is completely surrounded by a mixture of mature hardwood and softwood trees. An accurate tee shot with mid to long iron could set up a birdie. Hidden pot bunker behind the green and tough pin placements over left front traps could eliminate the birdie or even a par.
Hole 16
Par 4
422 Yards
Straight away tee shot through a short tree lined chute sets up a unique second shot. Bird’s eye view of a huge receptive green may be misleading. Possibly one more club will be needed.
Hole 17
Par 4
406 Yards
Hit your drive to the right of the birch tree in the distance and possibly take advantage of the prevailing wind. The second shot requires both length and accuracy to a medium size green with traps waiting for any imperfections.
Hole 18
Par 5
544 Yards
You’re almost home, but a long par 5 with trees right and bunkers left still stands in the way. A solid drive sets up a long uphill second toward a tree-lined avenue, and the approach must avoid three large bunkers before a final two-putt.
